Unfortunately, many Vietnam War Veterans exposed to Agent Orange are now suffering from prostate cancer and other health conditions linked to their service.
Veterans with prostate cancer who were exposed to Agent Orange or other herbicides during their military service are not required to prove a connection between their prostate cancer and their service to qualify for VA disability benefits.

What is Prostate Cancer?
Prostate cancer is a type of cancer that occurs in the prostate, a small gland in the male reproductive system that is located just below the bladder and in front of the rectum. The prostate’s main function is to produce seminal fluid, which nourishes and transports sperm.
Prostate cancer usually grows slowly, and many men with this type of cancer may not experience symptoms for years. However, in some cases, prostate cancer can grow more aggressively and spread to other parts of the body, such as the bones or lymph nodes.
In the United States, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. The American Cancer Society estimates that about one in eight men will develop this disease during their lifetime, with the average age of diagnosis being 67.
